Candidate FAQs

74 questions on applying, payments, refunds, your data and staying safe from recruitment fraud. They summarise our recruitment policies, which govern if anything here differs.

Royal Sense does not charge any fee to apply, interview or be hired, and no payment improves your chances. Never share a password, PIN or OTP with anyone.

1.About this portal

Q1Who is Royal Sense Limited (RSL)?

RSL is the prospective employer. It alone decides on interviews, selection, rejection, designation, salary, employment terms, offer letters and joining.

Q2Who is Brandexo Global Private Limited (BGPL)?

BGPL is an independent recruitment-support service provider engaged by RSL. It is not an employee, subsidiary, partner, joint venture or agent of RSL, and it cannot bind RSL.

Q3What does BGPL do in the recruitment process?

Subject to RSL's authorisation, BGPL may handle candidate sourcing, application management, preliminary CV screening, document-based checks of qualifications and experience, preliminary interviews, RSL-approved assessments, shortlisting and interview coordination. BGPL's role is preliminary and facilitative only.

Q4What are the stages of the recruitment process?
  • RSL communicates a requirement.
  • The vacancy is published through RSL-approved channels.
  • Candidates apply.
  • BGPL does preliminary screening.
  • BGPL submits a shortlist to RSL.
  • RSL evaluates (interviews, tests, background checks).
  • RSL alone decides on selection.
  • Appointment happens only when RSL issues or expressly authorises an offer/appointment letter.

2.Fees and payments

Q5Does RSL charge any fee to apply for a job?

No. RSL does not charge any application, registration, recruitment, interview, placement or security-deposit fee, or any other amount, for applying, being considered, being shortlisted, interviewing, being selected or obtaining employment.

Q6Will I be asked to pay anything on this portal?

Possibly. BGPL may offer a separately identified administrative/candidate-support service for a charge. This is optional-in-nature to the extent disclosed on the payment page and is entirely separate from RSL's hiring decision. If no such service is shown, no payment is required.

Q7What is the BGPL Administrative/Service Charge?

It is an amount charged by BGPL, not RSL, for a specific service that BGPL actually provides. The service description, charge, GST/taxes and total payable must be shown to you before you pay.

Q8Who receives the money I pay?

BGPL (directly or through an authorised payment gateway). RSL does not receive or keep any part of the charge unless separately disclosed in writing.

Q9Does paying BGPL improve my chances of getting an interview or job?

No. Payment does not guarantee or improve your prospects of an interview, shortlisting, selection, offer letter, appointment or employment. It gives you no preferential treatment, and RSL does not consider whether you paid when assessing you.

Q10What will I see before I pay?

You will see a prominent notice and payment details showing: the service provider (Brandexo Global Private Limited), service description, service charge, GST/taxes, total payable, a link to the Refund/Cancellation Policy and BGPL's grievance contact. The notice states that this is not a payment to RSL for employment and does not guarantee or improve your prospects.

Q11Do I have to give consent before paying?

Yes. A separate, unticked-by-default checkbox must be ticked confirming you have read the service description, amount, Candidate Terms, Recruitment Disclaimer, Privacy Policy and Refund Policy. The payment button stays inactive until you do.

Q12What will the payment button say?

It should read “PROCEED TO PAY BGPL”.

Q13What will I receive after payment?

A confirmation showing the service provider, service, amount and transaction reference, plus an invoice/receipt identifying BGPL. Please keep both. The receipt will not describe the charge as an RSL employment, job or selection fee.

Q14Is it safe to pay through the portal's payment gateway?

Payments are processed through an authorised payment gateway for BGPL. RSL does not need to receive or store your complete card, bank or authentication details. Never share your passwords, ATM PIN, UPI PIN or OTP with anyone, including anyone claiming to represent RSL or BGPL.

Q15Can someone say RSL requires payment for the job?

No. Neither BGPL nor anyone else may say or imply that RSL requires payment, that payment secures preferential treatment, or that payment guarantees an interview, selection or employment. Report any such claim (see Section 7).

3.Applying and selection

Q16Does submitting an application guarantee screening, an interview or a job?

No. An application is only a request to be considered. RSL may accept, reject, defer or require further evaluation of any candidate.

Q17Does BGPL's shortlisting or recommendation mean I am selected?

No. BGPL's screening, recommendation or shortlist is not an employment offer. Only RSL makes the final decision.

Q18When will I be considered an RSL employee?

Only when RSL issues, or expressly authorises, an offer/appointment letter or other employment documentation. Application, registration, payment to BGPL, screening, assessment, shortlisting or interview does not create an employment relationship.

Q19Can BGPL promise me a salary, designation or joining date?

No. BGPL cannot determine salary or terms, negotiate on RSL's behalf, issue offer letters, or give a binding joining date unless RSL expressly authorises it in writing.

Q20Can RSL cancel or change a vacancy?

Yes. RSL may modify, postpone, suspend, withdraw or cancel a vacancy or recruitment exercise, subject to applicable law. Participation does not oblige RSL to appoint anyone. The effect on any BGPL service you paid for is governed by the Refund and Cancellation Policy.

Q21Will my background and documents be verified?

Possibly. RSL may verify qualifications, experience, identity, credentials and references where appropriate for the role and permitted by law. An offer may be subject to satisfactory verification.

Q22What if I provide wrong or false information?

You must provide accurate, complete information. Forged qualifications, fabricated records, false identity, altered certificates or fake references may lead to rejection or discontinuation of your candidature, subject to applicable law.

Q23What are the rules for assessments and interviews?

You must attend personally. You must not impersonate anyone, let someone take an assessment for you, use prohibited assistance, manipulate assessment systems, cheat, or copy/distribute confidential assessment materials.

Q24Which declarations must I accept when applying?

Before submitting, you tick a declaration that your information is true and not misleading, that application/screening/shortlisting/interview does not guarantee selection, and that you have had access to the Candidate Terms, Recruitment Disclaimer and Privacy Policy.

4.Refunds and cancellations

Q25Who handles refunds for BGPL charges?

BGPL, not RSL. RSL is not responsible for BGPL refunds merely because the service was connected with an RSL vacancy.

Q26When may I be eligible for a refund?

Subject to the service terms and law, a refund may be considered if:

  • you were charged twice for the same transaction;
  • the service could not be provided due to a technical/administrative failure by the provider;
  • the provider cancelled the service before providing it;
  • an incorrect amount was collected due to a payment or system error;
  • you cancelled within a cancellation period offered for that service;
  • the service terms expressly provide for it; or
  • the law requires it.
Q27When am I ordinarily not entitled to a refund?

Not merely because you were not shortlisted, did not get an interview, failed an interview or assessment, were not selected, someone else was selected, received no offer, disagree with RSL's decision, did not meet eligibility criteria, or changed your mind after the service was substantially or fully performed. This does not limit any refund right under applicable law.

Q28What happens if RSL cancels the vacancy after I paid?

Cancellation does not automatically entitle you to a refund. BGPL will decide based on the service already performed, the terms disclosed before payment and applicable law. If no part of the service was provided and it cannot be provided because the process was cancelled, BGPL should refund where required by the terms or law.

Q29If I withdraw my application, do I get a refund?

Not automatically. Cancellation of an unperformed service is governed by the applicable service terms and law.

Q30How do I request a refund?

Email or call BGPL:

  • Email: [email protected]
  • Address: Basement, C-7, Phase-3, Badli Industrial Area, Delhi-110042

Include your name, registered email/mobile, application/reference number, payment date, amount, transaction number, service purchased, reason and supporting documents.

Q31How will my refund be paid and how long will it take?

Ordinarily to your original payment method. Approved refunds should be initiated within the period stated in the service terms and law; the time to reach your account also depends on your bank, card network, UPI or payment gateway. You will never be asked for PINs, OTPs or passwords to receive a refund.

Q32What if my refund request is rejected?

You should be informed of the decision and, where appropriate, the main reason. Additional information requests must not be used merely to delay a valid refund. You may also pursue your legal remedies.

Q33What if I was charged twice, charged the wrong amount, or debited despite a failed transaction?

Contact BGPL and/or the payment gateway promptly with your transaction reference, date, amount, receipt and bank/gateway reference.

Q34Can I raise a chargeback with my bank?

Yes. Your lawful rights through your bank, card issuer, UPI provider or payment gateway are not restricted. The receiving party may share transaction and service records with the payment provider for this purpose.

Q35Does a refund or refusal of refund affect my job application?

No. RSL's recruitment decision is independent of any payment, refund, cancellation or payment dispute.

5.Your personal data and privacy

Q36What personal data is collected?

Depending on the role and stage: name, contact details, CV, education, employment history, qualifications, skills, certifications, assessment and interview information, application status, communications, social media profiles, and (where relevant and lawful) date of birth, photograph and identity information. Technical data such as device, browser, IP and logs may be collected on the portal.

Q37Why is my data used?

To manage applications, screen and assess candidates, conduct interviews, shortlist, verify information, make selection decisions, issue employment documents, onboard, handle complaints, detect fraud or impersonation, protect systems and brand, comply with law and defend legal claims.

Q38Who can see my data?

Authorised RSL personnel (HR, management, legal, compliance, IT), BGPL and other authorised recruitment-support providers, verification/assessment providers, IT and hosting vendors, professional advisers, and authorities where required or permitted by law. Data is not shared merely because a third party asks.

Q39Can BGPL sell or market using my data?

No. BGPL is contractually barred from selling RSL candidate data, using it for unrelated commercial purposes, using it for unauthorised marketing, or disclosing it to unauthorised third parties.

Q40Does BGPL have a separate privacy notice?

If BGPL independently collects data for its own separately identified paid service, its own privacy notice may also apply. Review it before purchasing.

Q41How long is my data kept?

Only as long as reasonably necessary for recruitment, legal compliance, complaints, audit, disputes and similar lawful purposes. Data on unsuccessful candidates may be retained for a reasonable period. Retention for future vacancies beyond what is permitted will be done with notice or consent where the law requires. When no longer needed, data may be securely deleted or anonymised.

Q42What are my data rights?

Subject to applicable law, you may ask for information about your data, request correction or updating, request erasure where legally applicable, and raise a privacy grievance.

Q43Who do I contact about privacy?

RSL Data Protection/Recruitment Privacy Grievance Contact: [email protected], 1st Floor, C-7, Phase-3, Badli Industrial Area, Delhi-110042. For data BGPL collects only for its own paid service, contact BGPL.

Q44What happens if there is a data breach?

BGPL must notify RSL without undue delay of any actual or reasonably suspected material breach affecting RSL recruitment data, and RSL will respond as required by law.

Q45Is my data transferred outside India?

Cross-border processing must comply with applicable law.

Q46Are automated tools used?

Digital tools may assist with application management, screening or assessment, but they do not independently create a binding offer. RSL retains final authority.

6.Recruitment fraud and safety

Q47What are the warning signs of recruitment fraud?
  • Promises of guaranteed RSL employment in exchange for money
  • Demands for money “in RSL's name”
  • Requests to pay into a personal bank account or wallet
  • Claims that payment guarantees selection
  • Suspicious or fake offer/appointment letters
  • Messages from unverifiable accounts
  • Requests for PINs, OTPs, passwords or unnecessary financial details
  • Pressure to pay immediately to secure a vacancy
Q48Does an RSL logo or job description prove an offer is genuine?

No. A logo, name, job description, employee photo or official-looking letter does not by itself prove authenticity. Verify independently before paying or sharing sensitive information.

Q49Is RSL bound by fake offer letters?

No. RSL is not bound by forged, fabricated, altered or unauthorised documents. An offer is genuine only if issued or expressly authorised through RSL's authorised recruitment process.

Q50What if I paid someone who turns out to be fraudulent?

A payment to an unauthorised person is not automatically a payment to RSL or BGPL. Contact RSL, your bank/payment provider and the competent authorities, and keep all evidence.

Q51How can I verify an offer or payment request?

Contact the RSL Recruitment Verification Contact: [email protected].

Q52How can I report fraud, and what should I keep?

Email: [email protected] (address: 1st Floor, C-7, Phase-3, Badli Industrial Area, Delhi-110042). Preserve messages, emails, phone numbers, screenshots, payment receipts, bank/payment references and suspected fake documents.

Q53What can RSL do about fraud?

RSL may verify the communication, require BGPL to investigate, suspend a channel or advertisement, require removal of content, preserve evidence, notify payment providers, report to authorities, and take contractual or legal action.

7.Complaints and grievances

Q54Whom should I contact for which complaint?

BGPL (first level) for: service charge, payment gateway issues, duplicate or failed payments, invoice/receipt, service delivery, cancellation, refund and candidate-support services.

  • Gaurav Arora (Director)
  • Email: [email protected]
  • Address: Basement, C-7, Phase-3, Badli Industrial Area, Delhi-110042

RSL for: fake vacancies or offer letters, impersonation, misuse of RSL's name/logo, claims that RSL requires payment, guaranteed employment for payment, serious misconduct in an RSL recruitment process, privacy/security concerns, or unresolved BGPL conduct affecting RSL.

  • Jyoti Saw (HR Manager)
  • Email: [email protected]
  • Address: 1st Floor, C-7, Phase-3, Badli Industrial Area, Delhi-110042
Q55What details should I include in a complaint?

Your name, application/reference number, contact details, description and dates, transaction details, emails/messages, screenshots, invoice/receipt and other evidence. Never include passwords, PINs or OTPs.

Q56Will my complaint be acknowledged and investigated?

Yes. The receiving entity should acknowledge within the period required by law or otherwise a reasonable period, generate a ticket reference where practicable, and may review records, communications, payments, advertisements and documents.

Q57Which complaints are escalated to RSL?

BGPL must promptly notify RSL of credible allegations of employment being sold in RSL's name, guaranteed employment, fake RSL documents, material fraud, impersonation, brand misuse, unauthorised charging in RSL's name, material data/security incidents, or government/police/regulatory action.

Q58Will raising a complaint hurt my application?

No. You will not be disadvantaged in RSL's recruitment decision merely for raising a genuine complaint in good faith. Knowingly fraudulent or abusive complaints are not protected.

Q59Does RSL's involvement in a complaint mean RSL received my payment?

No. Receiving, forwarding or investigating a complaint does not by itself mean RSL received the payment, provided the paid service or is liable for the refund.

Q60Can I approach a court or authority?

Yes. Nothing in these policies waives your statutory rights or stops you approaching a court, consumer forum, regulator, government authority or law-enforcement agency.

8.General

Q61Which law governs these terms?

The laws of India.

Q62Can the policies change?

Yes. RSL may amend its policies, and BGPL may amend terms for its own service. Changes operate prospectively where required by law, do not extinguish accrued rights, and material changes are communicated where law requires.

Q63What if the policies conflict with the law?

Mandatory provisions of applicable law always prevail.

Q64How can I contact RSL for general recruitment queries?

Royal Sense Limited, Registered Office: C-7, Phase-3, Badli Industrial Area, Delhi-110042. CIN: L46491DL2023PLC412051. Email: [email protected]. Website: www.royalsense.in.

9.Disputes, applications and your account

Q65Which courts have jurisdiction over disputes?

All disputes relating to the recruitment process, these policies and any BGPL service charge are subject to Delhi, India jurisdiction only. Between RSL and BGPL, disputes are first negotiated in good faith for 30 days and then referred to a sole arbitrator in New Delhi under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, in English. This does not take away any right you have under law that cannot lawfully be excluded, including approaching a competent consumer forum, regulator or law-enforcement authority.

Q66How will I know the status of my application?

RSL and BGPL communicate with you about your application status through the contact details you provided. Please keep your email and mobile number current and check them regularly. A BGPL message about screening or shortlisting is not an offer from RSL.

Q67Which documents may I be asked for?

Typically your CV, educational and professional qualifications, certifications, employment history, and, where relevant and lawful, identity information and references. Only provide what is reasonably required. Never send passwords, PINs or OTPs, and avoid sending sensitive information to unverified persons.

Q68How long does the process take?

The timeline depends on the vacancy, screening, assessments and RSL's evaluation. No fixed timeline is guaranteed, and RSL may postpone, suspend or cancel a vacancy.

Q69What happens if I am not selected?

RSL may reject, defer or require further evaluation of any candidate and need not give reasons. Not being selected does not by itself entitle you to a refund of a BGPL service charge. Your data may be kept for a reasonable period for recruitment records, disputes and legal compliance.

Q70Can I withdraw my application?

Yes. Notify the recruitment contact. Withdrawal does not automatically entitle you to a refund; see Section 4.

Q71Can I ask for my data to be corrected or deleted?

Yes, subject to applicable law. Contact RSL at [email protected] for data processed for RSL recruitment. For data BGPL collects only for its own paid service, contact BGPL at [email protected].

Q72I received a job offer by email or message. How do I know it is genuine?

An offer is genuine only if issued or expressly authorised by RSL. A logo or official-looking letter is not proof. Verify with RSL at [email protected] before paying anyone or sharing sensitive information.

Q73Can I apply again for another RSL vacancy?

Yes, you may apply to other vacancies. Each application is evaluated separately by RSL and no outcome is guaranteed.

Q74Does paying BGPL give me a better chance in a future application?

No. A BGPL payment never guarantees or improves your prospects with RSL, now or later.
